"LITTLE MARY SUNSHINE" THE MUSICAL Little Mary Sunshine, a parody of early operettas and musicals, is the fall production for San Marin's Musical Theatre Workshop.
The show will run October 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 8PM with 2PM matinees on October 19 and 26. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
The musical opened off-Broadway in 1959 and ran for over 1100 performances to unanimous rave reviews from the critics. In this saga of Colorado, Little Mary Sunshine is an innkeeper and the story revolves around guests of the inn, forest rangers, and Native Americans.
Over 50 students are involved in cast, crew and orchestra. They are supported by orchestra director Sanamtha Maas-Baldwin, technical director Pat Nims, choreographer Kate Kenyon and director Emily Gates, as well as many parents and community members who have been building, sewing and gathering props.
Tickets will go on sale September 30 in San Marin's front office.
