Hello fellow San Marin parents,
Safe and Sober Grad Night (Class of 2007 Pictures) is an event planned and put on by parent and community volunteers each year to honor the year’s graduating seniors. San Marin has honored their graduates with this event for 20 years.
Safe Grad is scheduled for Friday, June 12th directly after the 7pm graduation ceremony. It is held at Meridian Rolling Hills Club, where the club will be transformed by the creation of: A Casino, Parisian Salon with hair and nail stylists, Nightclub with DJ, Tattoo Parlor, Fortune Teller with palm and tarot card readers, inflatable game midway, Hypnotist show, portrait artist station, all night restaurant, and many deck and pool games. The kids have a wonderful time and it’s a great way for the students to end their high school experience in a safe, sober environment.
We are now in the planning stages of our annual Safe Grad event and we are in desperate need of your help. We would like to invite all Frosh, Soph, Junior, and Senior parents to participate! We have many volunteer opportunities available, including Decorations Committee below! **** The decorations committee needs your help****
No decorating experience is necessary. In the last 5 years we have become very organized and we re-use a lot of the decorations each year. This is your chance to get involved!
We have helped with this event since 2002 and with experience the more help we receive the less work there is for all. Most of the work is done on that day and evening.
We have scheduled 2 meetings to be flexible for all interested. Monday, April 21st and Tuesday, April 27th at 7:00 pm in the front office at San Marin. Talk it up and please bring friends!!!
If you have helped in the past but cannot help this year, please come and report on what a fun event this is!
Any questions please e-mail us: g2home@pacbell.net or robyn.moyer@yahoo.com
Thank you, Ginger Apperson and Robyn Moyer Decorating co-chairs
****THE SAN MARIN SAFE GRAD EVENT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE IF MORE PARENTS DO NOT VOLUNTEER TO HELP.****
This event is very well organized due to years of work by many dedicated volunteers…we need you to step up and help out! No matter the grade of your student there are opportunities for you to help. Please e-mail Janice Blair at Janice@3blairs.com or jblair@nusd.org if you are willing to help.
PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS SPECIAL EVENT END!
