For families looking for a wonderful new holiday event, San Marin Dance Department is presenting a “Cookies and Cocoa Concert,” a delightful evening of dance choreographed to everyone's favorite holiday melodies. With its colorful costumes, 28 cast members, and 22 lively holiday dance numbers, it promises to be an evening the entire family will enjoy. The audience will be treated to dances from as far away as Africa, as well as to new spins on old Christmas standbys like a tap dance to “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and a “Jingle Bells” kick line. All guests will also enjoy a cup of steaming hot cocoa and homemade cookies.
The performances will be December 11th and 12th at 7 p.m. in the San Marin High Emily Gates Student Center. General admission is $8; there is also limited table seating for $12. The price of each ticket includes complimentary cocoa and cookies. Advance purchase of tickets is encouraged as performing arts shows at San Marin usually sell out. Tickets are available for purchase in the San Marin Front office or can be purchased at the door, availability permitting.
The “Cookies and Cocoa Concert” is an evening not to be missed; it will quickly become a much-anticipated family holiday tradition!
