Thanks to San Marin High

The San Marin Improvement Association would like to thank the wonderful students at San Marin High School for their continued support and participation at many neighborhood events in the past few years.

The SMIA sponsors local events such as our annual Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, Santa by Carriage and much more. Hundreds of neighborhood children, adults and seniors attend these community events and often times local residents help sponsor the events as well.

However, where the SMIA is lacking, is in the volunteer department.

This is where the San Marin High School students have really become invaluable to us. For the past several years, we have had spirited San Marin students from the Leadership Class, the California Scholastic Federation class as well as students from the choir come help and participate at our events.

These students are always on time, eager to help and wonderful with the young children. We give thanks to these students who are giving back to their neighborhood and learning that volunteerism in the community is, and always has been, the spirit that keeps us together.
