Unfortunately, there have been some seniors who have been excluded from the graduation ceremony in the past because they have exercised poor judgment in the weeks preceding the ceremony, becoming involved in acts that include alcohol, drugs, and/or other disruptive behaviors. Please talk as a family about peer pressure and making good decisions, remembering that the commencement ceremony is a privilege, not a right. Any senior who violates school behavior standards will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony and/or other graduation-related activities. Following is a schedule of events and due dates for the forms:
Senior Behavior contract was due April 5th and Diploma form was due April 9th, if you have not turn in these forms see Mrs. Zanardi ASAP!
May 30th is the senior prom, at The Gift Center in San Francisco from 7:00 pm to 11pm. The senior prom is a formal dinner dance. Any senior attending the prom will need to fill out the senior prom agreement which is due to Mrs. Walera by May 14th. Prom tickets will go on sale May 10th and be sold until May 14th; no tickets can be sold after this date. Senior prom agreement/guest pass are due by May 14, 2010, required from every senior going to Prom.
June 2nd senior breakfast will be held in the Student Center at 7:00 am.
June 2nd is the senior awards night. Seniors receiving awards will be notified prior to the event. Seniors receiving awards should plan on attending the event.
June 3rd seniors leave for Disneyland.
June 7th thru June 10th Final exams.
June 11th will be Graduation practice 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm in the gym. Graduation rehearsal is mandatory for all seniors; students who do not participate in graduation rehearsal will not participate in the graduation ceremony.

If you haven't ordered a cap and gown please have your student see Mrs. Zanardi in the front office ASAP.
You may bring as many guests as you like; however, parking is limited so please consider a carpool. Seating will be in the bleachers with some seating on the turf track, please do not wear High Heels as they will wreck the turf field. Graduates are to meet in the SM gym at 6:00 PM with their cap and gown. NO HIGH HEELS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TURF - FLAT SHOES, WEDGE/WIDE HEELS OR SANDALS ONLY. Half of the seating on the track will be reserved for handicap seating. If you have people in need of handicapped seating and parking have your student see Mrs. Zanardi in the front office to get the proper handicap pass if they haven't already. Handicapped parking/drop-off will be available by the 500 and 400 buildings (with handicapped parking pass from the school only).
If it rains on the 11th with no possibility of having the ceremony outside, graduation will be held in the gym, and then seating will be limited (very limited).
June 11th Safe Grad Night at Rolling Hills: Flyers will be mailed home the beginning of April with the permission slips, cost and information.
Campus Candid's Graduation Foto is the company that will be taking the picture of your senior receiving their diploma and a second photo of them before they sit down. You will receive a proof of these pictures in the mail after graduation with the option to purchase them.
Overdue library books, lost/damaged textbooks, athletic and music uniforms should be returned and / or paid for BEFORE June 10th in order to receive your diploma at graduation. Please have your senior check the overdue book list; it is posted in English classrooms. The librarian and our assistant principals also have the list. To participate in graduation, this must be finalized. (See the attached Senior Clearance Form)
